Barbie Hair with Berry Ash

Monday, March 31, 2014
Hi, I'm here again to blog about my hair dye post, a very short post. I've been months not dying my hair and you can actually see a pudding served on top of my head. I don't wanna show u that because I feel paiseh to show it out, it's so unpleasant sight!

With that, I decided to try something new, Freshlight foam dye from Schwarzkopf in Berry Ash. The color seems not bad huh on the Barbie's hair and I hope my outcome will be same as hers. *pray*

So this is my hair color before dye. I didn't take any photos during the process because I'm all alone to dye my hair.

Gonna show you the outcome right now! I do like the outcome of the color, it's kind of dark ash brown instead. At this point, I really love my hair color! No more black root!

Alright! Serve you one more photo before continuing my drama, Vampires Diaries. Just ignore the bare face of me but FOCUS on my hair color. So beautiful! It looks like Ang mo hair Liao with ashy color. Haha!

Till then.

Be A Healthy Snow White with Byco Whitening Soap

Sunday, March 16, 2014
Here in Malaysia, being fair is considered beautiful compare to being tan, that's why there are loads & loads of whitening products here.

Whitening lotions... Whitening toners... Whitening scrubs... Whitening facial washes... Whitening creams... The list is endless!

I’m Chinese, so I’m generally fair in my own way, which is light yellow undertone. Of course, I don’t like to tan but I use to be tanned easily and would be very tanned. Oh, and I frequently walk to Uni. I don’t wear a hat or sunblock except for the SPF on my face from lotion (I know this is bad, but meh). So, the consequence of having this bad habit has caused me to be tanned into 2 darker tones!

Until I met Moses, my friend, I heard from him he has a friend start selling whitening soap, which will be officially available at Jaya Grocer & Village Grocer, Malaysia, and being the curious girl little girl I am, I had received 2 bars of soap of Byco from him to test it out.

Byco Beauty Whitening Soap.

Although it's marketed as a whitening soap, it doesn't really "whiten" as much as actually brightening it and restoring it. The purpose of this soap isn't to bleach your skin, but to bring your skin color back to its natural skin color. Since it has real papaya extract in it, it has a component called papaine that is a natural exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and also create cell turnover, revealing new healthy skin. This product is a do-it-all for me. Even though I do not want to be "snow white" or Caucasian but I'm happy being oriental and like my skin color now!

Another thing to note, you might be thinking this soap may be very drying on the skin, but I personally don't have a problem with that because carrot extract in this soap fixes that right up, which has the properties of anti-inflammatory and soothing effect on uncomfortable skin to bring moisture balance back for skin.

To use this, I wet my skin and hands, rub the soap on my hands to get a good amount and apply it on my skin. Massaging it for a while and then wash it off. Simple as that!

Here's my before & after photo (under same mode/ setting and light):
Before.

After. As promised, it does brightens up my skin, it really worked!

I did get a shade lighter after constantly using it for a month, results will vary with every person. Some will see results after a week or few months. Patience is the key. It takes time because it is adjusting your skin to the change gradually instead of a quick change which can cause trauma to the skin.

Overall, I've very pleased with this soap. I see my complexion getting better, gradually and it's continuing to improve. I’ll continue using it and this becomes a staple product for me, I do make it a point to include it in my shopping basket next time whenever I'm running out of it.

Model Winsom Lim get addicted on it as well.

What are you waiting for??? Grab it now at https://www.facebook.com/bycomarketing

Till then. Hope you had a great start for your week!

Butter Up @Seri Kembangan

Saturday, March 15, 2014
I was hyped and excited to go to Butter Up at Seri Kembangan for some great pastries. They offer wide assortment of menu, and their baked goods are in reasonable price.

Here's some pics of the place (credited to esticalovesfood).

Such a surprise to have a cozy and yet comfy shop in Serdang area. Modern European design is filling every corner of the shop, it makes you feel like living in another countries.

The place is not that large but yet they still have indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Illy Mocha is served. I was so surprise to see Illy coffee had actually launched in my town, I know this brand from doing part of my assignment, their target market was initially targeted to high coffee consumption countries, especially Italy. I never thought they further expand their brand in Malaysia, it's so good for coffee lover to try out this new quality brand.

Seafood Aglio Olio was......so so. It was a bit bland but perfect for those who prefer anything 清淡. On the upper right is my Earl Grey Tea.

I ordered 1 blueberry and 1 original (vanilla) cream puffs.

Cream puffs look so wonderful with the icing sugar sprinkled on top of it. The shells are light and fluffy with a nice crispness on the outside. The cream is smooth and very rich with its natural vanilla aroma and not being overly sweet, just plain awesome. Guess will come back for this far more than I probably should!

I want to apology for not taking clear pics of my ordered puffs. I couldn't wait to taste it when it was served just right in front of me. It waves towards me and keeps calling me:" come and eat me, faster come......"

Ok la, compensate you with the nicer close up pic, credited to esticalovesfood.

Till then. Enjoy reading :)
