Chill at Chatime

Monday, October 31, 2011
In the arena of desserts, the craze over Taiwan bubble tea has been a tad overwhelming over the past months, very much thanks to a Taiwan franchised dessert, Chatime.
Boyfie and I were happy when we saw the short queue and gladly join the line until we realized that there was a crowd waiting on the other side of the kiosk.

While waiting......
The shop in Pavilion has tables and chairs nearby for you to sit and enjoy your favourite bubble tea with friends, another plus point compared to other shops around town.

Is my turn,
Yeap, I bought my first drink ‘Roasted Milk Tea with Pearls’, their bestseller.

Start to drink!

Hmmm......Take a sip 1st.

What I can say is that it tastes different from the ones you get from the smaller stalls, which a majority of them uses power based ingredients. The sweet, creamy flavor of milk tea never fails to tickle my taste buds.

I just love this milky, healthy drink that filled with lots of incredibly springy pearls.

I do quite fancy it! Look at that face, U may know....XD

Craving more as it was love at my first sip, haha.

Lastly,
I love how the straws come in a packaging on it’s own, details such as this definitely makes it more enjoyable.

P/S: Remember to bring your friend along to enjoy as Chatime has a vast variation of Tea where you can choose from to suit your taste, and the next thing I know Chatime is sprouting like mushrooms all over KL and Selangor, spotting on prominent locations for visibility and branding purposes.

Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt

Saturday, October 22, 2011
Moo.......................................................................... It was the Moo sounds that caught my attention.

Ya, Frozen Yogurt has hit the town! It is strategically located at the level 3 between Sushi Zanmai and Fong Lye Restaurant. What a nice location as it always pack with people. I can't resist to buy a cup after the cow "MOO" at me while walking past the stall after my lunch!

The seating area looks comfortable and well decorated like a farm house!

Yeap, this is Moo Cow Family.

At Moo Cow, there's a familiar topping section and yogurt-dispensing levers are present but do not have free reign over the amount of yogurt.

Prices are very reasonable even by my scrooge standards. Lol.

Original Flavor with Sunflower seeds and Dried cranberries.

The portion is pretty big as U can see from the cup I ordered and the price is very reasonable.

Start to Moooo......

Wow, that was good! Heavy creamy texture and loads fuller to give U that extra kick in every spoonful. Just like ice cream but less calories! Dessert without the guilt!

Lastly,
 Moo Cow XOXO

Dine in Sakae Sushi

Wednesday, September 28, 2011
Looking for Japanese place, U may go to the "Green Frog", named Sakae Sushi.

This place is serving favorite Japanese fast food chain. I think the nicest thing about sushi restaurant is being able to see the sushi moving around U.
The price it's inexpensive but it's fresh, good quality and very enjoyable. U will be surprise to see Japanese food price at such reasonable price. I noticed that they were using a new order system, they had touch screen monitors. Awesome ain't it?! Touch, Touch, Touch to make your order, haha!

Feast your eyes on the food, haha.
Here's my dinner, Sakae (エ). Breaded chicken cutlet with Japanese curry. Grilled scallops with codfish roe accompanied with salmon teriyaki.

Mizu (ズ) for my elder brother, soft shell crab with spicy tofu sauce accompanied with salmon sashimi. The salmon pieces is not stingy, it comes in thick slices and fresh too!

Aki (キ) for my lil brother. Oyster kamameshi accompanied with tempura prawns and assorted vegetables.

I was not full yet and ordered 1 more ......
Spicy Idako Maki, (シ-コ卷き). Seasoned octopus, shrimp roe, crabmeat, Japanese omelette and Japanese chili flakes. Spicy but one of my favorite here.

And some random photos while waiting for food to come......
I look like auntie here BUT look fair, haha.

Hot Green Tea is the most significant  "food" for the Japanese.

Do we look alike??

Yeap, I'm ending with the above picture. Go and try Sakae sushi now! Its pricing is really affordable!

Life is a process....

Thursday, September 1, 2011

To me, life is just like a process, do not care about the winning or losing in the game but CARE about the process. As we will always continue to develop and be going through these different states in life. Ya, I'm pretty agree on it. Always moving, whether it seems like some days we are moving forward or some days we are moving backwards. I don't think there is a time where we are done with the process since life always seems to challenge that and with a slap in the face the process continues. There is no finish line. So guys, look forward what's next to do!!!

Citrus Wine & Dine

Sunday, August 28, 2011
In my recent visit to Ipoh, I had a great dinner with my boy in this place called Citrus Wine & Dine, a fine-dining restaurant located in Ipoh Perdana. Citrus has a very simple set up with warm ambiance and spans over 2 shop lots and with upstairs reserved for private functions but it may seemed to be lacking of a nice address.
Big thanks to Eric Ng for recommending that we try Citrus. I would say this outlet is nicely and tastefully done!

With ♥

YOU READY for the FOOD?!!!
Roasted Chicken with Sour Sauce. I don't remember this name lah, just remember the taste!

San Francisco Steakhouse

Saturday, July 9, 2011
I'm finally done with all the reports. It's time for me to spend more time on my blog.

In searching for a place to relax my mind, I decided to give a new try at San Francisco Steakhouse, which opened at Coliseum Square, Ipoh.

The exterior was nice. Simple and spacious table arrangement allowed to fit in nearly a hundred of diners easily.

Speaking of which, the meal is incomplete without a glass of wine. But, I didn't order as my dearest blocked my way T.T

Dessert is typically coming at the end of a meal. Girls, what are you waiting for??

It comes to food.......
Get prepared your tableware and START!!

Slices of bread were served with a fragrant fresh herb butter chunk.

Mushroom soup with creamThe soup was so good! It was full of mushroom flavor and nice and creamy.

Baked Escargot with Garlic Cream. It's chewy but softer with none of the fishy taste associated with the snails. The garlic cream play a role by making everything beyond perfect.

House Chicken Caesar. Baby romaine lettuce tossed with special dressing, garlic crouton and roasted chicken breast.

Grilled lamb chop served with coleslaw and french fries.

Grilled Salmon with lemon butter sauce, served with baked pilaf rice and garlic broccoli.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio. It is a traditional Italian pasta dish with the robust fragrance of the olive oil, the crisp freshness of the garlic, and the quality of the grated cheese.

But, we left without ordering any desserts, we were too FULL. Sad. Overall was good and dine-in customer can enjoy a complementary waive of the parking ticket which costs RM2 flat per entry into multi-storey car park inside the Coliseum Square.

Camwhore Time.

Yay! I got my new toy last few weeks. My first polaroid camera- Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s. Just point, shoot and up pops a credit size photo which is so instant and mini!
We ended up by taking these photos.
